All Construction Assessment and Training provides assistance to the civil and general construction industry, including the pool and landscaping industry in meeting their obligations for work health and safety and environmental safety.
If you are a Principal Contractor (PC), (or a Person in Control of a Business or Undertaking [PCBU] at 1 January 2012 under the new Work Health and Safety Act 2011), you have an obligation to ensure the safety of all employees, trade contractors and visitors to a work site under your control, and to have a Safety Management System and a Work Method Statement in place for all employees.
Trade Contractors are required to provide the Principal Contractor (PC) with a copy of a completed Work Method Statement for the tasks that they are assigned on the site. A Principal Contractor may refuse a trade contractor entry to the site if they do not provide an appropriate work method statement.
Having the correct work health and safety documents in place is essential when bidding on commercial and large scale jobs.
They also cover your legal obligations should an accident occur on site. Working without the appropriate work health and safety documents can cost you a bundle in fines.
All Construction Assessment and Training has a suite of Work Method Statements and Safety Management Systems that have been specifically designed for the civil and general construction industry, including the pool and landscaping industries. We tailor your documentation to your specific business needs.
Whether you are a Principle Contractor, house contractor, civil operator, landscape gardener, irrigation specialist, a concrete pool specialist or pool maintenance technician, we have skills and expertise to consult with you, one-on-one to provide documentation to suit your needs.

Local and state laws require that all construction works have environmental controls in place to reduce the likelihood of sediment dust and noise, waste and chemicals from leaving the construction site, and to have controls in place to reduce erosion. The fines are hefty, and it only takes one neighbour to complain to bring out the council inspectors. And with clients becoming more aware of the environmental impact of building and construction works, it pays to be able to show them you carry out our business in an environmentally sensitive manner.
All Construction Assessment and Training has developed Erosion and Sediment Control Management Plans and Erosion and Sediment Control Manuals specifically to meet the needs of the civil and general construction industry, including the pool and landscaping industries.
Whether you are a Principle Contractor, landscape gardener, irrigation specialist, a concrete pool specialist or pool maintenance technician, we have skills and expertise to consult with you, one-on-one to provide documentation to suit your needs.
