The NSPI Accredited Specialist program recognises your or your staff’s skills and experience in the pool and spa water maintenance industry. It is offered via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), so there’s no time away from the business.
It comprises assessment and training at three levels:
Are you doing pool water maintenance in commercial facilities such as those in body corporate complexes, schools, hotels/motels and water parks in Queensland?
Do you know your obligations under the ‘Queensland Health Swimming and Spa Pool Water Quality and Operational Guidelines’ and under local authority requirements as set out in the Toolbox initiative to have formally trained pool water maintenance technicians?
By successfully completing Accredited Specialist in Domestic and Commercial Pool Water Maintenance you can fulfil these obligations.By completing one of NSPI’s Accredited Specialist courses, or by getting your staff Accredited Specialist assessment your company will gain a competitive edge. It shows your clients, whether they are mum and dad pool owner or a multi-complex body corporate, that the person taking care of their pool has been assessed by a credible, industry-recognised third party as providing pool water services to industry best practice, in line with State regulatory authority requirements and Australian Standards.
When you or your staff complete an Accredited Specialist course, NSPI sends a Skill Set Statement, badges for your uniforms and stickers for your shop and vehicle to promote you as being/employing Accredited Specialists. We can also send you the Accredited Specialist logo to use on your website, business cards and other promotion materials.
Your or your staff’s details are also uploaded onto our Accredited Specialist Register where your clients can check that you have the relevant accreditation.
